Let it snow, Let it snow, Let it snow......

Oh the weather outside is frightful,
But the fire is so delightful,
And since we've no place to go,
Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!

These lyrics ran through my mind as I rode Natasha, my 1996 Ural Sidecar Rig to run a couple of errands for my wife; she'd also challenged me to find at least five pristine parking lots in which to do donuts while on the rig. She's quite the enabler, isn't she? : )

Errands done, the snow still falling and about a couple of inches accumulation on the ground and roads, there's was nought to do but rise to the challenge!

In the nearby high school's parking lot, and yes, that's the Sun up there in the sky

Different school's parking lot, went for the artsy effect with the trees

At The Plains Conservation Center, not the shadowy outlines of the tepees in the background

I used the "bracket" mode on my camera here to try and capture the overcast Sun's image on top of the Arapahoe County Fairground's water tower.

I had to take a picture of Natasha by the sign, very fitting for today's riding

Here's Natasha at the racetrack's parking lot area

The imposing electric power line towers near the fairgrounds

The challenge, by the way, was handily met by Natasha and her snow-crazed rider. Each of the photos above depict a location where donuts were performed by the Ural. I am pleased to say she's idling much better now and she gave me no problems as we rode about in the snow. A great morning of riding. Now, what to do for the afternoon....or even tomorrow on Christmas Eve! Ah, the possibilities.
